Job Description:


Designation: Engineer | Supplier Quality Assurance Responsibilities:


  • Prepare, review of quality inspection plan for various raw materials, raw material rejection data capturing, analysis and Inspection, Record Keeping & database management.
  • Conduct material test as per plan.
  • Attend Material Review Meeting (MRM) & provide disposition/Update, and Update ECN.
  • Provide training to IQC engineers/inspectors and suppliers.
  • Participate in supplier development activities (Supplier Evaluation Audit, LIR/SIR, PPAP etc.)
  • Master sample verification, layout inspection for new /modified parts.
  • Conduct Supplier Audits (System & Process) Supplier audit gap closure verification.
  • Communicate to Rejection details to supplier and drive actions through SCAR /8D and it's actions verification and its closure.
  • Preparation and communication of supplier rejection reports/summary (PPM, Rating etc).
  • Regularly maintain all QA records, Google docs updating, PLM Documents/Formats ISO/IATF Audits.
  • Understanding & implement customer’s specific requirements.
  • Identify potential risks, plan contingency & risk mitigation & CAPA execution.
  • Conduct MSA study for the gauges used in QC inspection at IQC & participate and perform SPC Study for CTQ Parameters at supplier end.
  • Plan and conduct supplier PPAP audits and review of PPAP files.
  • Participate in new supplier evaluation audit and follow-up for closure of audit gaps.
  • Hands on experience of handling Injection Moulding, Aluminium Die Casted parts & it's manufacturing processes, injection moulding, sheet metal, aluminium die casting related quality problem solving by using 8D/7QC/SCAR methodology.
  • Hands on experience of using various inspection gauges viz. Digital vernier caliper, height Gauge, micro-meter, Profile projector, CMM, VMM etc.


Requirements:


  • Good hold/knowledge on GD&T & Mechanical drawings.
  • Should be able interpret/read mechanical 2D/3D drawings and perform part/product layout inspection independently.
  • Able to perform PPAP documentation review.
  • Able to prepare quality plans for all types of mechanical parts per given drawings /specifications


Travelling Required: Yes (50% of time - mostly within Pune & Maharashtra location)

Education


  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical with 60% throughout in academics


Experience


  • 4-6 years
