Location: Remote, India

Hire Type: Contract

Duration: 12+ Months


Key Responsibilities:

Vulnerability Automation:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python to enhance the efficiency of vulnerability detection, reporting, and remediation workflows.
  • Use libraries such as Pandas for data analysis and manipulation to streamline vulnerability data handling and reporting.
  • Integrate various vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable, Wiz, and other platforms into automated workflows.

Vulnerability Management:

  • Conduct automated vulnerability scans and ensure accurate analysis of results.
  • Work closely with the security team to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Automate the process of vulnerability data collection, risk assessment, and reporting for internal stakeholders.

Process Engineering:

  • Design and optimize vulnerability management processes, introducing automation where possible to reduce manual efforts and improve response times.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity and IT teams to improve security workflows and standardize vulnerability management procedures.

Tool Integration & Customization:

  • Customize and enhance the use of vulnerability tools like Tenable and Wiz by creating tailored automation scripts and workflows.
  • Build integrations between vulnerability scanning tools and project management tools such as Jira to track and manage security tasks efficiently.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Automate the generation of vulnerability reports, ensuring that the data is accurate, timely, and easily accessible by technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Document all automation processes and workflows for knowledge sharing and auditing purposes.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically in vulnerability management and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Tenable, Wiz, and other vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas for scripting and data analysis.
  • Experience with Jira for task management and tracking.

Skills:

  • Strong background in automating security workflows and vulnerability management processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large sets of vulnerability data.
  • Experience in process engineering, with a focus on identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud environments and security tools (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or other relevant credentials.
