Job Title: Mid Level Finance Accountant
Experience: 2 - 4 Years only
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mid Level Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and Provident Fund regulations, as well as hands-on experience in Indian accounting practices. This role requires a proactive individual willing to travel to government offices and CA offices when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle GST filings, TDS computations and filings, Professional Tax, and Provident Fund compliance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with Indian accounting standards.
- Liaise with government departments, auditors, and Chartered Accountants as required.
- Ensure timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in audits and prepare necessary financial reports.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial systems and implement improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Finance and accounting
- Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws including GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and Provident Fund.
- Proven hands-on experience in Indian accounting and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Language Requirement: Must be fluent in Marathi and English.
- Location Requirement: Must be a resident of Pune, Maharashtra.
