Job Overview:

As a Senior Scriptwriter at Brand Scale-Up Inc., you will be responsible for developing original, creative scripts for advertising campaigns, branded content, and digital media. Your agency experience will be crucial in understanding client briefs, aligning with brand guidelines, and producing scripts that resonate with target audiences. You will collaborate closely with clients, Cinematographers and designers to craft impactful narratives across various formats, from TV commercials and online videos to social media content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write compelling scripts for advertising campaigns, including TV commercials, digital content, social media videos, branded content, and other marketing materials.
• Collaborate with creative teams, account managers, and clients to develop and refine concepts based on client briefs, brand objectives, and target audience insights.
• Create and maintain consistent brand voices across scripts, ensuring that the tone, messaging, and style align with the client’s brand identity.
• Revise and edit scripts as needed, incorporating client feedback and ensuring the final product meets high creative standards and business goals.
• Lead brainstorming sessions and provide creative direction to junior writers and team members, mentoring them in scriptwriting and creative development.
• Stay up to date with current trends in advertising, digital media, and popular culture to inspire fresh, relevant ideas.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure that creative concepts and scripts align with their vision and expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Literature, Creative Writing, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in scriptwriting with a focus on advertising, digital content, or branded entertainment, ideally within an agency environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of scriptwriting work for advertising campaigns, including TV commercials, digital videos, social media, and branded content.
• Expertise in writing short-form content with a clear focus on storytelling, persuasive messaging, and audience engagement.
• Exceptional ability to balance creativity with brand messaging, delivering scripts that meet client objectives while captivating the audience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams to bring concepts to life.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• A deep understanding of digital platforms and the specific requirements for content tailored to online audiences and social media.
