We’re hiring an experienced MES Lead to implement and support Aveva PI Historian-based MES solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Aveva PI Historian, MS SQL, and industrial connectivity (OPC DA, SCADA/HMI), along with strong leadership and domain knowledge in manufacturing execution systems (MES/MOM).Key ResponsibilitiesLead MES deployments and operational support using Aveva PI Historian, AF, Vision, and ParcViewConfigure MES modules: Production, Maintenance, Quality, InventoryManage a team of MES developers and ensure high-quality delivery across multiple sitesIntegrate MES with ERP and Quality systems using middleware tools like Informatica or SAP PI/POTroubleshoot MES performance issues, debug system errors, and implement minor enhancementsDevelop and maintain SSRS reports and SQL queries for operational and business reportingEnable shop-floor connectivity using IGS OPC DA, Kepware OPC Suite, and SCADA/HMI systemsCollaborate with technical architects to translate solution architecture into actionable work plansMust-Have SkillsAveva PI Historian, AF, Vision, ParcViewMS SQL Server (2008–2019), stored procedures, SSRSMES-MOM principles and ISA-95 architectureOPC DA, Kepware, SCADA/HMI integrationExperience in MES operational support and enhancement workNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with latest versions of Aveva PI HistorianFamiliarity with Docker/Kubernetes, Azure/AWS for MES deploymentsExposure to MES in Pharma, Automotive, or Food & BeverageAgile/Scrum project experienceProfessional AttributesStrong communication and stakeholder engagementAbility to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior developersAnalytical mindset with a focus on system reliability and performanceQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field5–10 years of MES experience in manufacturing industries
