About UsMeta X Market (Pvt) Ltd is an internationally connected business group headquartered in Sri Lanka, with operations across Asia and Africa. With expertise in digital transformation, AI, and financial technology, Meta X is expanding into the Indian market through a new Fintech and NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) venture in collaboration with global partners.We are looking for an experienced Co-Founder from India to lead the local operations and ensure regulatory and strategic success.Role OverviewAs Co-Founder (Fintech & NBFC Operations – India), you will play a key leadership role in building and managing the company’s financial services operations in India. You’ll ensure compliance with Indian government and RBI regulations, develop business models, and establish strong relationships with regulators, investors, and partners.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all NBFC-related operations within India, ensuring full compliance with RBI and other government regulations.Collaborate with Meta X Market’s global leadership team to establish and implement strategic business plans.Develop operational frameworks, licensing processes, and internal control systems aligned with Indian financial standards.Manage relationships with financial institutions, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.Drive the development of innovative fintech solutions and partnership models.Support fundraising and investor relations activities as part of the leadership team.Build and mentor a local operations and compliance team.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years of proven experience in NBFC or financial services operations in India.Strong knowledge of RBI compliance, financial reporting, and NBFC regulations.Demonstrated experience in setting up or scaling financial institutions or fintech ventures.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.What We OfferStrategic Co-Founder role in an internationally backed venture.Opportunity to shape the future of Fintech and NBFC innovation in India.Global exposure and cross-border collaboration with Asia and Africa markets.Equity-based partnership model (details to be discussed with shortlisted candidates).
