Responsibilities:


 Deriving products from online sources/indigenously published products

 Create a style sheet to detail the specifications of a publication

 Interact with authors to get response/feedback/approval on editorial intervention and any specific author queries raised at the time of editing

 Coordinate with all stakeholders involved in the publication (author, typesetter, freelancers, etc.)  Enlist, develop, and supervise a dependable pool of quality freelance copyeditors and proof readers.

 Get print ready files prepared for printing

 Maintain project records for each publication


Requirements:

• Should have a working experience as Subject Editor for 3-5 years with a publisher of repute, operating in the competitive exam segment.

• MSc in Chemistry

• Subject Matter Expert of Chemistry

• Strong hold over English language and sound grammar and usage skills

• Ability to multi-task and set priorities

• Exposure to working on board level and competitive exam textbooks
