Job Title: MERN Full Stack Engineer

Location: Remote

Working Hours: 3 PM IST to 12 AM IST

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Who are you?

• Full Stack Expertise: You are experienced in both backend and frontend development, with solid skills in Node.js for backend services and React.js for front-end applications.
• Node.js Proficiency: You have a deep understanding of Node.js, including the asynchronous event-driven nature of JavaScript. You’re comfortable building RESTful APIs, handling server-side logic, and managing database interactions.
• React.js Mastery: You are proficient with React.js and understand its component-based architecture. You can handle state management using tools like Redux, Context API, or Zustand, and have experience building responsive, performant web applications.
• Database Knowledge: You are experienced in working with MongoDB, designing database schemas, and managing large datasets. Experience with MongoDB Atlas or other cloud-hosted database solutions is a plus.
• API Development and Integration: You are skilled in building and consuming RESTful APIs and have a good understanding of how to integrate them into both front-end and back-end applications.
• Version Control & Collaboration: You are proficient with Git and have experience with collaborative workflows using platforms like GitHub or GitLab. You can handle pull requests, code reviews, and follow best practices for version control.
• DevOps & Deployment: You have some experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or similar containerization tools, and are comfortable deploying applications to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Testing & Quality: You write clean, maintainable code and are experienced with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai. You understand the importance of comprehensive documentation and well-structured unit tests.
• Problem Solver: You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can troubleshoot issues across the full stack—whether on the server, in the database, or in the client-side code.
• Communication Skills: You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, which are essential for collaborating in a remote environment and with international teams.
• Remote Work Experience: You are self-motivated and have experience working remotely. You can manage your time effectively and are comfortable working both independently and within a distributed team.
• Experience: You have 3+ years of full-stack development experience in a professional setting.

What you will be doing?

• Build & Maintain Applications: You will develop and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js for backend services, React.js for front-end development, and MongoDB as the database solution.
• API Development: You will design and implement RESTful APIs that will power front-end applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure Code Quality: You will write clean, scalable, and maintainable code. You’ll also be responsible for conducting peer code reviews and writing unit tests.
• Deploy and Maintain Services: You will be responsible for deploying applications to cloud platforms and maintaining services post-launch. You’ll help monitor system performance and address production issues as they arise.
• Optimize for Performance: You will focus on performance optimization, ensuring that applications load quickly and function efficiently across different devices and networks.
• Stay Updated with Emerging Technologies: You’ll stay current with the latest trends in the JavaScript ecosystem and propose ways to improve development workflows and application performance.
