Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in ConnectWise PSA to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our PSA tool while also implementing and maintaining DevOps practices to streamline our software development and deployment processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
ConnectWise PSA Management
- Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain ConnectWise PSA to ensure optimal performance and seamless integration with other business systems.
- Workflow Development: Develop and implement workflows, automation processes, and custom reports within ConnectWise PSA to enhance operational efficiency.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on ConnectWise PSA functionalities, best practices, and effective use of the platform.
- Monitoring and Resolution: Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to ConnectWise PSA, coordinating with the vendor as needed for timely resolution.
DevOps Practices
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle and improve deployment efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications, facilitating effective collaboration across functions.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar to manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- System Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and high availability of systems.
- Security Best Practices: Ensure adherence to security best practices in all DevOps processes to safeguard systems and data against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- ConnectWise PSA Expertise: Proven experience with ConnectWise PSA, including configuration, customization, and integration to optimize system performance and support business needs.
- DevOps Knowledge: Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- CI/CD Tools Experience: Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps for automating the software development lifecycle.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks and manage infrastructure.
- Cloud and Containerization: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable and efficient infrastructure management.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in ConnectWise PSA or related tools to validate expertise and enhance professional credentials.
- Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack for effective system observability and performance tracking.
- ITIL Knowledge: Understanding of ITIL practices and service management to align IT services with business needs and improve service delivery.
