Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of solar energy technologies, components, and industry suppliers.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, negotiations, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.


Role Requirements

  • Collaborate with project teams to define procurement needs and specifications.
  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for solar components.
  • Obtain quotes, proposals, and bids from suppliers for project materials.
  • Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor market trends and changes in solar component pricing.
  • Assist in managing procurement budgets and cost tracking.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts to selected vendors.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and components to project sites.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to manage transportation and delivery logistics.
  • Verify the quality and specifications of received materials.
  • Support the resolution of procurement-related issues and challenges.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contract compliance.
  • Assist in managing vendor performance and relationships.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and supplier capabilities.
  • Adapt procurement strategies based on changing project requirements and constraints.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and project teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide procurement insights.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
  • Adapt to new procurement tools, software, and techniques.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to procurement policies.
  • Adapt to evolving procurement practices and market dynamics.
  • Showcase professionalism and integrity in vendor interactions.
  • Prioritize sustainability and ethical considerations in procurement decisions.
  • Assist in conducting supplier audits and evaluations as needed.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the procurement team.
