DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Intelligent Building Management Systems (IBMS)
  • Lead the BMS/Change Management (support) team effectively.
  • Monitor all data center clusters across Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, China) on the video wall.
  • Proficiency in understanding and working with various BMS protocols.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of data center operations, encompassing critical systems and infrastructure.
  • Efficiently identify alarms and ensure timely communication within defined Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Collaborate with the onsite Facility Management Team (FMT) for effective coordination and execution of tasks.
  • Create and maintain essential BMS-related documents for reference and auditing purposes.
  • Generate comprehensive alarm reports and conduct in-depth analysis to identify patterns and trends.
  • Handle incident management, including efficient ticket logging and resolution.
  • Play a key role in the change management process, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Proficient in computer usage with the ability to compile and submit monthly and annual reports. Monitor and trend operational characteristics such as load, capacity, and environmental conditions.
  • Advantageous to have hands-on experience with SAP systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with team, vendors and customers involved in BMS activity.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Graduate in any stream AND/OR Evidence of Exceptional ability for the role


  • Self-started, team player, ability and desire to learn quickly.
  • Ability to turn-around tasks quickly and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proven experience in IBMS/BMS.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
