Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and oversee the development of Magento-based e-commerce solutions, ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance optimization.
  2. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  3. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of e-commerce concepts and practices to create seamless shopping experiences for our customers.
  4. Customize and extend Magento\'s core features and functionalities to meet specific business requirements and goals.
  5. Configure and customize the Magento platform to meet client-specific e-commerce needs, including product catalog setup, payment gateway integration, inventory management, and order fulfillment workflows
  6. Work on consolidation of multiple D2C tech solutions to target Magento D2C platform
  7. Develop and maintain Magento extensions, optimizing their performance and compatibility with the platform.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of Magento\'s code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components.
  9. Ensure efficient e-commerce data organization and manage relationships between data entities.
  10. Expertly handle web services integrations, including REST and SOAP, to seamlessly connect our platform with external systems.
  11. Magento Certification and experience in ERP integrations with Magento are highly desirable.
  12. Familiarity with Magento Commerce (on-prem/Cloud), BI Pro, and Order Management is an advantage.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of PHP web development experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of real-world e-commerce experience with Magento development with a deep understanding of Magento\'s functional capabilities and e-commerce best practices
  • Competence in PHP object-oriented programming and MVC applications.
  • Proficiency in MySQL-based database concepts.
  • Solid knowledge of modern HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, React, Angular).
  • Thorough understanding of Magento\'s code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components.
  • Expertise in authoring and extending Magento extensions.
  • Thorough experience in customizing Magento\'s front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates.
  • In-depth knowledge of vanilla Magento feature set and configuration.
  • Competence in e-commerce data organization and relationships.
  • Competence in authoring JavaScript and using libraries such as jQuery.
  • Competence in web services integrations (REST/SOAP).
  • Magento Certification is a significant plus.
  • Working experience on Magento Commerce (on-prem/Cloud), BI Pro, and Order Management is an advantage.
