We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, preparing financial reports, and providing financial insights to support business decision-making. The Chartered Accountant will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while maintaining the integrity of financial records and ensuring timely completion of statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Conduct audits and ensure that financial transactions are in compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Advise on financial planning and tax matters, and provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Oversee and manage tax compliance, including preparing and filing tax returns.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payments.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of regulatory filings, such as VAT returns, income tax returns, and statutory reports.
  • Provide financial insights to senior management to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors during the audit process.
  • Implement financial policies, internal controls, and accounting systems.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) with a valid membership from a recognized body (e.g., ICAI).
  • Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and corporate law.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to accuracy and thoroughness in work.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, assess solutions, and recommend actions.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team of junior accountants and provide guidance as needed.
