We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated and hands-on AI-Powered Healthcare Treatment Planning Developer to lead the development and implementation of an innovative solution that leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate treatment planning and appointment scheduling within the healthcare industry. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Loop, ensuring it leverages the power of AI to enhance clinical decision support and improve patient outcomes. Depending on your experience and performance, this role will have the opportunity to play a big role in software engineering and team building for Loop in the future.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with healthcare domain experts to gather requirements and define use cases.
  • Select and implement appropriate LLM models and development tools.
  • Develop clear and effective prompts for the LLM model.
  • Train and fine-tune the model on healthcare data.
  • Design and develop user interfaces for interacting with the LLM-generated treatment plans.
  • Integrate the LLM model's output with the existing EHR/PMS.
  • Implement automated appointment scheduling.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance.
  • Deploy and monitor the system, addressing any issues promptly.


Your Profile


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI/ML applications.
  • Demonstrated experience working with LLM models and natural language processing.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or other relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology and treatment planning guidelines (relevant coding systems).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data privacy best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Additional Desired Skills:


  • Experience with healthcare software development or integration.
  • Familiarity with HL7 FHIR or other healthcare data exchange standards.
  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms and natural language processing.
