Responsibilities:

As a Founding Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the technology and product at 1Fi from the ground up. You will work closely with the founder(s) to build, scale, and optimize our core platform. This role requires a mix of hands-on development, architectural decision-making, and a problem-solving mindset to create a seamless and scalable fintech product.

  • Own and drive the end-to-end development of 1Fi's platform, from architecture to deployment.
  • Work with product and business teams to translate vision into a robust and scalable tech solution.
  • Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of the platform.
  • Build and scale tech infrastructure while keeping cost efficiency in mind.
  • Stay ahead of fintech trends and implement best practices to enhance our product.
  • Eventually, help grow and lead the engineering team

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of experience in software development, preferably in fintech, wealth management, or lending.
  • Strong technical expertise in backend and frontend development, with experience in scalable architectures and modern frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with investment platforms, mutual funds, lending, or financial services is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and make key technical decisions in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Prior experience in early-stage startups or building products from scratch is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for fintech innovation.
  • Preferably from a strong technical background (IITs, NITs, or equivalent).
