Job Description: Appium Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer (1-5 years)Location: [India / WFH]Employment Type: Full-timeHand on Experience Required: 2-3 years in Mobile Automation Testing with Appium. About the Role:This is a full-time remote role for a Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer at V-Thru. We are seeking a highly skilled Candidate to join our QA team. The candidate will design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for both our Customer App and Driver App (Android & iOS). This role also requires strong expertise in Mobile, API testing, web testing, and CI/CD integrations, ensuring end-to-end quality of our food delivery platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS apps using Java-based automation frameworks (Appium, TestNG/JUnit).Execute and manage automation tests across multiple applications (Customer & Driver apps) simultaneously.Perform API testing to validate backend services and data integrity.Contribute to Web automation testing for admin, restaurant, and partner portals.Run automated tests on Sauce Labs (or similar device farms) and analyze detailed result reports.Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).Use Docker containers for test environment setup, parallel execution, and scalability.Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test coverage, ensure feature readiness, and troubleshoot defects.Ensure test coverage across different devices, OS versions, and network conditions.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong expertise in Java programming for test automation.Proficiency in automation frameworks (Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).Hands-on experience with Mobile Testing (Android & iOS).Experience in API Testing (Postman, REST Assured).Knowledge of Web Testing (Selenium/WebDriver).Experience with Docker for scalable test execution.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.Familiarity with cloud-based test environments like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack.Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
