Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Shopify Developer located in Mumbai.

  • 3-4 years of experience in Shopify development. 
  • Develop and maintain Shopify ecommerce websites, ensuring functionality, responsiveness, and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to implement and refine website features.
  • Customize Shopify themes and templates according to project requirements.
  • Integrate third-party apps and services to enhance website functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and Shopify updates, incorporating best practices into projects.
  • This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while adhering to project timelines and requirements.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of successful e-commerce projects.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
  • Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI principles, and responsive design.
  • Minimum of 2- 3 years of solid experience developing in Shopify/Liquid.
  • Demonstrable experience in front-end technologies: HTML/CSS and JavaScript (Experience in Vue.js, React, or Angular would be an added advantage).
  • Working knowledge of Shopify Plus and server-side languages such as Ruby on Rails or Node.js.
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Versed in Shopify APIs and its integration across platforms and experience with third-party apps, plugins, and payment gateways.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • SEO Expertise along with keyword research.
  • Shopify APIs (preferably but not mandatory related to Products, Collections, Search)
  • Extensive knowledge of E-commerce best practices and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
