Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary:

The scope of the work will be limited to identifying the analyzing requirements, changes needed in the systems, design, estimation, development work for making the changes, code reviews, testing, deploying the changes, triaging issues, bug fixes, testing support, and warranty support.


Onsite Role: SP Infocity M G R Salai, Perungudi Kandanchavady Chennai


Responsibilities:

  • Helping define the product features, refine system architecture, and spearhead best practices that enable a quality product
  • Designing and building features to enhance existing applications
  • Working on ad-hoc requests and bug fixes
  • Participating in doc reviews with product managers and stakeholders
  • Supporting and delegating tickets while on-call
  • Team meetings and presentations/learning sessions

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with following software programming language: Java / JEE, Amazon development stack, AWS, SQL and no-SQL database interactions, webservices, APIs
  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills to both business and technical partners
