Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst for Global Payroll to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll compliance regulations and functional knowledge in one or more Asia Pacific countries (like Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand) with a focus on developing payroll product and ensuring accuracy and adherence to the country regulations.


Responsibilities:


  • Review and interpret the payroll relevant regulations across allocated countries.
  • Brainstorm on the possible scenarios to ensure the in-depth of the compliances developed.
  • Translate the regulations in the rules/calculations with step wise guidance and detailed calculations to ensure no re-work is required while onboarding clients.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of all required information and details provided. Ensure detailed testing for all statutory items developed including multiple scenarios.
  • Stay up to date on changes in payroll laws and regulations across the specified countries and implement necessary updates to ensure compliance in the product.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across organisation for any payroll-related issues or concerns.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll data accuracy and compliance with local requirements.
  • Ensure thorough support during implementation of new customers to ensure seamless onboarding from statutory perspective.
  • Provide support to internal stakeholders on payroll compliance matters.
  • Provide Key User Training to the other teams


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in payroll compliance, with expertise in allocated countries.
  • Experience of Payroll processing / Payroll implementation will be an added advantage
  • Holds in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and processes.
  • Liaison with the consultants and authorities for seeking clarifications required during product development.
  • Experience working in multinational consulting firms is highly preferred.
  • Understanding and prior experience of working on other payroll product would be preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in productivity tools like MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
