Roles and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the preparation of design basis report with all hydraulic calculation related to PHE & FF services as per design standards.

2. Prepare Bill of Quantity with Technical Specifications related to PHE & FF works.

3. Prepare Estimated cost related to PHE and FF works as per DSR and Market rate.

4. Initiating the Kick-off meeting with customers for project discussion and coordination.

5. Hands-on experience in developing single line diagrams using tools like AutoCAD/Revit.

6. Co-ordinate with drafting Team for drawing the design of PHE & FF.


This job also involves the following aspects –

1. Ability to understand the architecture drawing and decide the effective routing of all water, sewer, storm and firefighting line in the plan.

2. Ability to understand the PHE & FF system and co-ordinate with MEP Team as per requirement.

3. Ability to create PHE & FF design based on client instructions and design standards.

4. Ability to communicate with Clients in written and spoken English in absence of his/her senior.

5. Ability to get trained and work on newer Design Software.

6. Ability to visit the site and give his/her observation on site works.


Key Skills Required: The following statements define the experience that is needed to apply for this position -

1. Knowledge of PHE & FF system design, standards, and calculations.

2. Experience in PHE & FF design for residential, commercial, museums and industrial buildings etc.

3. Knowledge of DSR, DAR and PAR for preparation of BOQ and Estimate.

4. Knowledge of AutoCAD software.

5. Experience in using MS Office.

6. Good spoken and written English communication skills.
