JOB TITLE: Australian Accountant - Manager/Center Head


LOCATION: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (On-site)


Seeking an experienced tax professional for a prestigious client of Miles Education, proficient in Australian Taxation and accounting, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on expertise.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Preparing taxation returns for individuals, organisations, and self-managed superannuation funds.
  • Preparing financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and governing and statutory bodies.
  • Preparing tax statements, financial statements, FBT, and BAS statements at required intervals.
  • Creating and returning statements and documents to clients by set deadlines.
  • Assure the accuracy of the information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Identifying areas where clients and businesses can reduce tax, make claims, and increase profit.
  • Liaising with financial institutions and brokers to establish funds management arrangements.
  • Introducing and maintaining accounting systems, and advising on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems.
  • Prepare, analyse, and review budgets and forecasts for clients.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Regularly reviewing systems and making updates and improvements where necessary.
  • Assisting Manager with tax planning, research, and advice.


Must have requirements:

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • A minimum of 5 years post-qualification relevant experience within a CA firm or BPO-style environment.
  • Required an Australian client experience.
  • Ideally be familiar with software such as Xero, MYOB, BGL 360, NowInfinity, Futrli, Smart Work papers (Business Fitness) and MS Office.
