Job Description:

Intelligence Node is looking for an experienced Senior Software Automation Test Engineer who can seamlessly handle testing and verification. You will work closely with other technology and content operations teams to define and build the quality verification systems for our tools and platform.

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the development and maintenance of manual and automated testing and test frameworks for teams. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for driving quality improvements throughout the organization. Specifically, you will:

  • Develop functional and performance test plans and cases for internal and external facing software systems
  • Drive improvements in software engineering practices across engineering teams.
  • Build tools and frameworks for automated testing.

Candidate Profile:

  • Well-versed with Selenium tool/Cypress, plugins, and components
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Java, JavaScript with Node.js, Ruby, C#, PHP, Python, and Perl
  • Well versed with agile, DevOps and continuous delivery methodology
  • Selenium Webdriver API , Apache POI API for reading and writing data to excel.
  • Testing Framework: Preferably TestNG or JUnit for Selenium, Mocha, Chai, Sinon for Cypress.
  • Excellent Manual Testing Skills.
  • IDE: Preferably Eclipse.
  • Expertise with Automation Tools Version Control: GIT.
  • Understanding the Business Requirements.
  • CI Tool: Jenkins.
  • Build Tools: ANT and Maven.
  • Knowledge of Key Libraries: Cypress File Upload, Axe, Cucumber Preprocessor is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Frameworks: KeywordDriven, DataDriven, and Hybrid.
  • Troubleshooting the Automation Tools.
  • Experience with Test Management Tools.
  • Understanding with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
  • Achieve testing goals using SDLC and STLC phases.
  • Create, execute and maintain automated test scripts to verify application GUI, functionality and load/ performance
  • Able to write quality test cases and scenarios
  • Report bugs and errors to the development teams
  • Ability to work autonomously in a team

Preferred Qualification:

  • Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills and an ability to come up with creative solutions to impossible-to-solve problems
  • Experience with testings React / Ruby on Rails based web applications is a Plus.
  • Experience with testing mobile apps
  • Past success with being a forward thinker and an advocate for the customer
