Through our app and website, users can easily schedule doorstep pickups and get paid for their scrap. Role Overview:
The Loss Prevention Officer (Warehouse) ensures smooth and secure operations at ScrapUncle's warehouse by preventing scrap loss and revenue leakage. This role involves staying alert, analyzing processes, and working closely with the warehouse team to identify and fix any issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Scrap Monitoring & Security:
- Oversee scrap collection, weighing, and storage processes to detect and prevent discrepancies.
- Regularly inspect warehouse inventory for unrecorded or unauthorized movements.
2.Audit & Compliance:
- Conduct periodic audits of warehouse operations to identify gaps in processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures to prevent leakage.
3.Risk Management:
- Identify vulnerabilities in scrap handling and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor financial transactions related to warehouse operations to prevent revenue loss.
4.Data Analysis:
- Analyze warehouse and operational data for inconsistencies or anomalies.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommend corrective actions.
5.Incident Resolution:
- Investigate cases of scrap leakage, theft, or mismanagement.
- Implement corrective actions and maintain incident logs for accountability.
6.Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with warehouse staff and management to improve processes.
- Train team members on best practices for leakage prevention and compliance.
