Job Title: HR – Manager/Sr Manager HR

Reporting to: Director / CEO

Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the HR function of a reputed organization.

Education: A professional degree in human resources or a related field with an MBA or equivalent is preferred.


Job Overview:

Responsible for the complete HR function of a large fire safety company and driving initiatives to increase employee performance and engagement and foster a professional and friendly culture.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Manage talent acquisition process which may include recruitment, interviewing, hiring qualified job applicants, counselling managers on candidate selection, training/induction programme new staff, conducting and analyzing exit interviews and recommending changes.
  • Establish a system of setting objectives, periodical evaluation and performance appraisal to strengthen the quality of employees working for the organization.
  • Manage employee attendance, leave, compensation, payroll processing and other related activities to ensure smooth functioning of HR.
  • Implement strategies for talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labour relations.
  • Comply with all legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Be a strong team leader for employees in the HR function constantly guiding and directing their actions.
