Job Role - DataOps Engineer (Support Engineer)

Experience : 3-7 Years

Job Location - Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai, Noida

NP - Immediate - 15 Days


ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Support and Maintenance Engineer


Primary Skill set:

  1. Experience in ADF/Synapse/Cosmos/SQL/ADB/PySpark
  2. Ready to work in Shift ( We have 24 X 7 Shift)
  3. Experience with ICM and ability to comprehend issues and fix them or reroute to the correct upstreams
  4. Maintaining and monitoring of Data Pipelines
  5. Monitor data quality pillars like uniqueness, completeness, correctness, timeliness, consistency, availability
  6. Ability to understand the issues with pipelines and perform root cause analysis
  7. Good documenting skills for capturing issue logs, sequence of events, root cause analysis and short term, long term fix details
  8. Updating wiki page for each pipeline enhancement or change.
  9. Assisting partner teams on information related to data issues so as to arrive at issue resolution
  10. Send regular updates on status of open issues, resolved issues
  11. Periodic review of Wiki pages and project documentation to ensure correctness of information and data quality rules
  12. Updating ADO daily including discussion threads at user story level, tracking efforts against well-defined tasks, closure of tasks
  13. Reporting on day to day progress to tech lead
  14. Proper Shift hand over to next support engineer.


Secondary Skill set

  1. Experience in ADB/Synapse/SQL/Cosmos/Scope scripting
  2. Knowledge of MSBI tech stack
  3. Perform data validation/quality assurance analysis around datasets
  4. Evaluate existing data quality rules and update them based on source field level or schema changes
  5. Working Knowledge on MSBI technology stack
  6. Refer to existing PBI dashboards and monitor regularly for trends, anomalies and take necessary action
