We at Mugafi are looking for a Sr. Graphic designer to create and guide the design team to create quality graphics for our company's marketing needs. You will play a significant role in ideating brand campaigns and adding value to the same by creating high-quality designs.


What is Mugafi?

Mugafi is a platform that helps writers and content creators develop stories and characters using AI and mentorship, while connecting them with industry opportunities.


Responsibilities:


  • You should be able to create appealing designs using various design styles, layout techniques, color themes, fonts, and icons
  • Develop and execute creative design concepts across various platforms, including digital, social media, print, and branding.
  • You’ll be a part of the marketing team and will have to collaborate with the other designers, video editors and the content team
  • You will work on social media campaigns and posts, standees for brand promotion at events and work on defining the brand language across all platforms
  • Constantly work with junior graphic designers and review their work consistently
  • Collaborate with writers, video editors, and marketing teams to create visual assets that enhance storytelling and align with brand goals.
  • You should also be able to guide the Junior Graphic Designers in conceptualizing and creating excellent designs. As a Senior Graphic Designer
  • Ensure all designs reflect Mugafi’s brand identity while maintaining a high standard of visual communication.


Requirements:

  • To be considered for this role, you must possess 3 years of experience working for Product-based startups or agencies defining your design expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Graphic Design, or a similar field.
  • You should have a portfolio displaying your most recent work
  • Proficiency in Design Software: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and other relevant tools.
  • Experience with AI Tools: Familiarity with AI design tools like Midjourney, Runway ML, or Stable Diffusion is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
