Job Description

We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer to oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions in our company and provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. The candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s technology operations and the implementation of IT systems and policies. The candidate will be responsible to ensure that IT systems and people are effective and are functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company. The candidate must be aware of the industry’s best practice processes. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.

• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by Management.

• Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.

• Make infrastructure decisions, ensuring technical excellence, versatility, safety, and soundness, resiliency, and scalability in the architecting and engineering of IT solutions, as well as managing all technical delivery.

• Ensure that technological resources satisfy the company’s short-term and long-term needs.

• Oversee all technology operations (e.g., network and data security, backup systems, etc.) and evaluate them according to established goals.

• Facilitate the development and implementation of disaster recovery and IT security failure plans.

• Build quality assurance and data protection processes.

• Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics. Identify problematic areas and

implement strategic solutions in time.

• Manage IT resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics.

Required experience:

• Experience as Sr. Manager-IT/IT Head or a similar profile

• Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.

• Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications

• Experience in ISO implementation will be a plus

Total Experience:

• IT experience of minimum of 10-15 years

• Interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

• Organizational skills and attention to detail

• Strong analytical, problem-solving ability and presentation skills

Required knowledge:

• Knowledge and experience in system architecture, network architecture, information security management, etc.

Desired Qualification:

• B.E./B. Tech in IT/Computer Science/other branches of Engineering or MCA

• MBA or other relevant degrees will be a plus

• Relevant recognized certification will be a plus
