Head of Planning Digitalization

Purpose of the position:
- Management of activities related to the implementation of Industry 4.0 principles in production and logistics
- Implementation of the strategy of the VW Group and the Skoda brand in the digitization of production
- Cooperation within the VW Group and Brand ŠKODA with innovation laboratories
- Representation on brand and group committees related to Industry 4.0 and digitization
- Coordination and consolidation of Productions IT requirements
- Implementation IT Shopfloor incl. Industrial Cyber Security process management
- Implementation of new products into production management systems
Authority:
- Determines Goals and priorities, Manages Systematic and timely identification of risks.
- Professional and disciplinary management of employees. Implementation of the agreed goals.
- In SKODA PEAK STRATEGY - responsible for strategy digitalization for production and logistics.
- As Business Partner Production and Logistics (by IT) responsible for digitalization strategy.
- Approves BU budget and use of funds.
- Representative for the Production area in ITSC (IT Steering Committee).
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes in car production.
- Product development processes PLM- Product Live Management.
- Cyber security in Production, Information Security Management System (ISO27001).
- Automatization, car body flow control in production, material flow.
- Analysis of the goals of the digitalization strategy in the production area.
- Management and organization of digital transformation projects in relevant areas in all phases.
- Production management systems (Scada, MES, MIS, FIS,.…)
- Economic thinking, calculation of project economics
- Brand and group processes and committees
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Determination and coordination of digitalization strategy production. Coordination of synergies within the group and brand strategies. Methodical control of analyses, definition, preparation and fulfillment of strategic goals in the ŠKODA P area. Active collaboration with brands and regions. Representation of the ŠKODA brand AUTO on the corporate committees that concern the strategic topics of digitalization and Industry 4.0 in production.
- Establishes the rules and procedures according to the applicable group standards and the Škoda brand (ISO 27000) for information security management in the P area. Manages the activities of planning groups and is an ISMS Partner for Area P for Cyber Risk Analysis for Information Systems and Technologies (IT/OT). In collaboration with ISMS management, it carries out security audits and ensures the fulfillment of corrective measures.D
- efine, plan and implement control concepts for new product and structural projects in production and optimize the control systems by analyzing ongoing production. Develop, coordinate and implement production and control concepts (FIS - Manufacturing Information System, etc.) for individual production areas.M
- anagement and control of IT-related projects in relation to Shopfloor IT standards and methodology, collaboration with Group IT and Group brands on Shopfloor standards. In collaboration with IT, the specialist architecture of new IT systems is determined in accordance with the new platforms and strategies (DPP). Manages and monitors the Area P project portfolio and creates long and medium term plans.L
