We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Game Designer to join our team. In this role, you will take the lead in crafting design concepts for our casual games, ensuring they are engaging, enjoyable, and meet the expectations of our target audience. Collaborating closely with our development team, you will play a key role in shaping the creative direction of our projects.


Responsibilities


  • Develop original and appealing game concepts, characters, storylines, gameplay mechanics, and features.
  • Create comprehensive design documentation to guide the development process.
  • Oversee the development of design features from concept to implementation, working closely with the development team.
  • Maintain detailed documentation covering game mechanics, progression systems, economy models, and monetization strategies.
  • Identify and propose new features aligned with the roadmap and business objectives.
  • Design engaging player experiences, produce feature mock-ups, and present concepts for development, guided by product KPIs.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand player behavior and enhance game design.
  • Contribute to the success and growth of the product by preparing feature vision and strategy aligned with the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, UX Designers, Analysts, etc.) to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Manage and enhance product features to maintain quality and relevance.
  • Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to refine game designs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into design decisions.
  • Evaluate builds to ensure high-quality implementation.


Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in Casual Games Design with a proven track record of successful mobile games.
  • Strong expertise in casual game development, particularly in genres like Match-3 or Merge.
  • Detail-oriented approach, ensuring all game design elements are polished and engaging.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, self-starter mindset.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to mentor and educate team members as needed.
  • Proficiency in conducting competitor analysis, deriving insights, and applying them effectively.
  • Capability to break down complex designs into measurable, actionable changes, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Fluent English for effective communication with an international team.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, able to influence and work effectively with various teams.
  • Receptiveness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Creative flair and a strong sense of UX and visual design.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey ideas clearly.
  • Passion for gaming and a desire to innovate in mobile game design.
  • Interest in mobile gaming trends and advancements.
