Location: Pune
Experience: 12+ Years
Position Overview: The MEP Head will oversee and manage all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for new projects at Imagicaaworld Entertainment, ensuring project completion within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge in MEP design, installation, and coordination, ideally with experience in large-scale projects in the entertainment, hospitality, or theme park industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management and Coordination
- Lead the MEP planning, design, and implementation phases for new projects, coordinating with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
- Develop and oversee MEP project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all work aligns with project goals and timelines.
- Technical Leadership and Quality Assurance
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on MEP systems, ensuring design accuracy, code compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
- Review and approve MEP drawings, layouts, BOQs, and specifications to ensure optimal functionality, efficiency, and alignment with project requirements.
- Vendor and Contractor Management
- Select and manage vendors, subcontractors, and consultants for MEP components, ensuring quality service and adherence to project timelines.
- Supervise contractor performance, monitor progress, and resolve any technical issues or delays that may arise during installation.
- Health, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all MEP work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining rigorous safety protocols on-site to safeguard all personnel.
- Conduct periodic audits and inspections of MEP systems to verify compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Cost Control and Budget Management
- Oversee MEP cost estimation, procurement, and budget management to control project expenses effectively.
- Review, negotiate, and approve all MEP-related costs, ensuring transparency and cost efficiency throughout the project.
- Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all MEP-related inquiries, keeping stakeholders informed of project progress, challenges, and timelines.
- Prepare and present regular reports on MEP project status, budget, and potential risks to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- 12+ years of experience in MEP project management, ideally within the entertainment, hospitality, or large-scale construction sectors.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Deep understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements within MEP disciplines.
