Production Engineer (3+ Years of Experience)


Key Responsibilities:


Production Planning and Management:

  • Develop and implement efficient production plans to meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.

Quality Control:

  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet specified standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of products to identify and rectify defects or issues.

Process Optimization:

  • Analyze production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques and best practices to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.

Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless production processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials and components for production.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and reduce costs.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production rates, quality control results, and equipment maintenance logs.
  • Prepare regular reports on production performance and present findings to management.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and process optimization.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing techniques and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
