Role : Engineer

Position Category : Manufacturing Engineer

Work Experience : 3 ~ 5 years

Location : Suprajit Technology Centre - Bengaluru


Education Requirement : BE,B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Manufacturing

Post Diploma / M Tech - Tool Design


Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product cross functional teams to understand milestones, identifying and defining manufacturing process, technical requirements and establishing time lines to develop the product

In-depth knowledge of various prototyping methods like RPT, machining, fabrication, welding etc

Collaborate with vendors for tool & part development

Knowledge of DFM/A, Mold flow analysis & APQP

Engineering co-ordination with Inter-discipline/client/consultant/contractor/vendor

Liaise with execution team during assembly, testing and mass production handover stage

Responsible for reviewing tool design, process design & giving feedback to stake holders & vendors

Die casting & injection molding knowledge

Engineering Materials and their applications

Hands on experience in product development cycle, PPAP and APQP process

Requirements & Skills:

Graduate in Engineering – Mechanical/Automobile/Manufacturing

Post Diploma / M.Tech - Tool Design

3+ years of experience in product development, preferably in casting & moulding

Understanding of the entire PLM cycle which includes product design, development, validation, and part qualification

Basic knowledge of CAD software

Basic knowledge on Draft analysis and defining the parting line for the castings.

Should be aware of the parts of the tool and its significance and purpose in the tool.

Experienced in communicating and presentation on different organizational levels. Ability to communicate technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders

Good work planning and prioritization skills
