Job Title: Copy Editor


Job Description:

As a Copy Editor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and compliance of content while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review content for grammar, punctuation, style, clarity, scientific accuracy, and language consistency.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using editorial, proofreading, and referencing tools, along with document management and file-sharing systems.
  • Critically evaluate the relevance and accuracy of scientific content.
  • Interpret and edit data, charts, and tables, ensuring statistical information is accurately presented and described.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, provide constructive feedback, and address editorial queries.
  • Adapt to evolving guidelines, regulations, best practices, tools, software, and processes while handling revisions and updates.
  • Serve as Veeva Promo Mats "Owner" for modules.
  • Perform quality control (QC) on populated templates and incorporate feedback as the templates progress through the Triage/Write process.
  • Escalate for evaluation of proposed revisions that lack justified annotations and highlight their impact on accuracy or compliance.
  • Ensure the correct application of the BRIX process and adhere to medical SOPs, including MCA procedures.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2–6 years of relevant experience in copy editing or a similar role.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong time and stakeholder management abilities, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Expertise in routing platforms such as Adobe, Veeva Promo Mats, and Wrike.
  • Proficiency in editing, proofreading, and data interpretation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Adaptability to change management and ability to train and mentor others.
  • Strong understanding of medical SOPs and MCA procedures.
  • Language proficiency and commitment to data integrity and accuracy.


Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with promotional requirements and content evaluation workflows.
  • Experience in managing and delivering projects in a remote working environment.
