The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial health of the organization by administering accounting operations, overseeing financial planning and analysis, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the senior management team with insights and financial advice to enable sound business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Support senior management with strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or CMA.
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
