Competencies critical for the role

Scientific / Technical

Excellent Knowledge & experience in the field of Hard goods in both physical and analytical parameters. Good exposure for Physical and Mechanical Testing. Knowledge of CPSC, CPSIA, REACH, General Product Safety Directive (GPSD)


Candidate should meet any of the educational qualification:

BTech / MTech in Mechanical Engineering or allied field with 8+ years of experience related to hard goods physical & analytical testing along with Team management

Scope of the role & Primary Responsibilities

Scope: End to End Lab operations


  • Ensuring Testing standards
  • Monitor the sample testing status
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and meeting deadlines for various testing procedures.
  • Ensure ISO/IEC 17025 audit compliance and take corrective and preventive action wherever necessary
  • Participate in Inter-laboratory -Proficiency testing as per ISO/IEC 17025.


  • Annual budget planning and improvement of lab.
  • Prepare the annual budget of the lab.
  • Monitor the budget preparation process.
  • Give inputs for lab improvement, expansion and purchase of new instruments.
  • Maintenance of Lab Instruments
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of all lab equipment.
  • Coordinating purchase and commissioning of new instruments.

  • Increase in daily efficiency of lab activities due to proper planning
  • Increase in efficiency of subordinates due to effectiveness of training.
