Job Description: SAP UI5 / Fiori Consultant (Healthcare Domain)Location: Hyderabad, IndiaCompany: HICS TechnologiesDepartment: SAP Healthcare PracticePosition Type: Full-timeExperience:5+ YearsAbout the RoleHICS Technologies is expanding its SAP Healthcare delivery center in Hyderabad and is seeking experienced SAP UI5/Fiori Consultants to work on cutting-edge healthcare IT projects. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications tailored to hospital workflows such as patient management, clinical workflows, billing, EMR, and operational modules.You will collaborate with SAP functional experts, ABAP teams, and healthcare domain specialists to deliver user-centric solutions that improve clinician, admin, and patient experiences.Key Responsibilities1. SAP UI5/Fiori DevelopmentDesign, develop, and enhance custom SAP UI5 applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, and OData.Develop Fiori elements, freestyle apps, and extend standard SAP Fiori applications.Implement advanced UI features such as dynamic tiles, charts, data tables, workflow-driven screens, and role-based dashboards.2. SAP Gateway / OData IntegrationCreate and maintain OData services using SAP Gateway.Work closely with backend ABAP teams to optimize data models and interface definitions.Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure smooth integration with healthcare modules.3. SAP Healthcare (IS-H / i.s.h.med) EnablementWork with healthcare functional consultants to understand hospital workflows:Patient administrationClinical documentationSchedulingBilling & insuranceEHR/EMR modulesTranslate healthcare domain requirements into UI designs and Fiori apps.Customize Fiori for healthcare-specific processes and usability (clinical-friendly UI design).4. UX & Design ThinkingConduct requirement workshops and develop wireframes.Apply SAP Fiori design principles and best practices for healthcare user personas (Doctors, Nurses, Admin, Billing Officers).Ensure responsiveness and performance across devices.5. Project DeliveryParticipate in full lifecycle SAP implementation and upgrade/rollout projects.Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for development and testing.Prepare documentation: technical specs, unit test cases, deployment procedures.6. Support & MaintenanceProvide production support, troubleshoot defects, and develop enhancements.Optimize applications for usability, performance, and analytics.Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical Skills3–8+ years of experience in SAP UI5 / Fiori development.Strong hands-on experience with:SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, Fiori ElementsSAP BTP (optional but desirable)JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3SAP Gateway & OData servicesREST APIs, JSONExperience with SAP S/4HANA environment.Knowledge of extensibility (in-app and side-by-side).Healthcare Domain Skills (Preferred)Exposure to SAP IS-H, i.s.h.med, or any healthcare solution in SAP.Understanding of hospital workflows (clinical, administrative, billing, etc.).Experience developing applications used by clinicians or healthcare operations teams.Soft SkillsStrong communication and client-interaction skills.Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.Proactive problem-solving mindset.Ability to work with cross-functional teams across global delivery centers.Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with SAP CAP, SAP BTP, UI5 Web Components, or SAP Work Zone.Mobile development experience (SAP Mobile Start, MDK).Familiarity with data privacy requirements in healthcare (HIPAA, PDPA, NDHM, etc.).Prior consulting experience with hospital or healthcare IT vendors.EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.SAP Certifications (Fiori/UI5, BTP) are a strong advantage.
