We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong foundation in C/ C++ (not Python, not web-frameworks) to join our growing engineering team.What You'll do:> Develop high-performance, low-latency software for embedded and distributed systems> Contribute to mission-critical applications including navigation, autonomy, and signal processing> Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts in robotics, hardware, and underwater vision> Ship software that will operate in some of the most challenging environments on Earth(Website: www.planystech.com) ResponsibilitiesWriting clean, high-quality, and highly maintainable codeDevelop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancementsCoordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standardsSupport test and deployment of new products and featuresParticipate in design, development, and testing with the underwater robots in the field - controlled waters and real-world conditions.Participate in code reviewsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)1.5+ years minimum of relevant work experienceExperience in developing end-to-end applications with C++Experience with data structures, object orientated programming, parallel processing and inter process communicationGood understanding of Bash, OS, and networking
