Job Title: GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Intern

Work Location: Baner/ Hinjewadi

Job Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented GRC Fresher to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. As a fresher, you will gain hands-on experience in supporting and managing GRC processes within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of risk management, compliance frameworks, and governance processes.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic Knowledge of GRC: Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance concepts, frameworks, and standards such as ISO 27001, COSO, NIST, etc.
  • Understanding of Risk Management: Basic understanding of risk management processes, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements: Awareness of legal and regulatory requirements relevant to business operations (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and identify trends or areas of concern.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to review complex documents and identify discrepancies or areas requiring further investigation.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create reports and communicate findings clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
  • Willingness to Learn: A keen interest in learning about GRC practices and a commitment to professional growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support GRC Framework Implementation: Assist in implementing and maintaining governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks in alignment with industry standards.
  • Risk Assessment Support: Help in identifying and evaluating risks, and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Support the monitoring and reporting of compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and standards.
  • Documentation: Assist in maintaining and updating documentation related to risk assessments, audits, and compliance reports.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Help in preparing reports related to GRC activities, highlighting key risks, compliance issues, and action plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risk areas and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and supporting audit activities.
  • Training and Awareness: Participate in training and awareness programs to enhance understanding of GRC principles and procedures.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in risk management, governance, and compliance regulations.


Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications: Any relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), would be an added advantage.
  • Basic IT Knowledge: Understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts would be helpful, especially for IT risk management.
