We are currently recruiting for a reputable European client specializing in the manufacturing of process equipment and spare parts, based in Pune.


Role Specification

  • Role Title: Automation Engineer
  • Location: Pune
  • Qualification: BE Electronics & Telecommunication / BE Instrumentation / BE Electrical
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Food, Pharma, Dairy Equipment process Automation, Logic development of PLC
  • Preferred Industry: Food/Pharma/Dairy processing equipment manufacturer

Knowledge & Skills required

  • PLC programming
  • Electrical drawing preparation and understanding.
  • Vendor coordination
  • Problem-solving ability

Responsibility & Authority

Responsibility:

  1. To be responsible for Process Logic development in PLC and preparation of electrical drawings.
  2. To prepare IO list and BOM for the control panel.
  3. To select PLC’s, Cards, HMI’s, VFD’s and field instruments as per customer requirements.
  4. To design the PLC panels, PID panels, and MCC panels.
  5. To design HMI and SCADA screens reference with available P & ID.
  6. To develop alarm, batch, and Audit reports to comply with 21 CFR.
  7. To ensure the I/O testing and preparation of DQ, IQ, OQ documentation.
  8. To be responsible for finalizing/developing handshake signals with upstream and downstream Customers' equipment’s.
  9. To be responsible for site installation and Commissioning.
  10. To provide online support to customers as and when required.
  11. To select vendors related to Automation & involve in negotiation with suppliers.
  12. To ensure timely updating status reports to the manager.
  13. He should have experience in panel testing.
  14. To ensure Instrument calibrations.
  15. To coordinate with the electrical team to complete electrical work.
  16. To prepare auto CAD drawing of multiple Control panel GA, wiring diagram, loop diagram, system architecture.
  17. To ensure PID loop programming of PLC.

  • Decision-making & execute the project’s all automation activities.
