You will work on Python-based services, production APIs, data pipelines, and agent orchestration systems. The role includes close collaboration with AI/ML teams, frontend teams, and product teams.Key ResponsibilitiesBackend DevelopmentBuild and optimise backend services, APIs, and microservices in PythonDesign backend systems that are scalable, secure, and reliableDevelop and enhance AI agent backends as part of the broader AI platformAI InfrastructureWork with AI engineers to deploy and maintain AI agents in productionImplement monitoring, observability, and debugging for agent workflowsSupport integrations with enterprise-grade systemsSystem Performance & ReliabilityImprove latency, throughput, and scalability of backend systemsTroubleshoot production issues and contribute to system hardeningEnsure high availability for mission-critical deploymentsCross-team CollaborationWork closely with product, AI, and frontend teamsProvide technical recommendations during design and architecture discussionsMaintain clear communication with engineering leadershipContinuous ImprovementIntroduce new tools, frameworks, and best practicesContribute to internal documentation, onboarding materials, and engineering standardsWhat We’re Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree from IITs, IIITs, NITs, BITS, or other top Indian technical institutesStrong hands-on building experience with Python (FastAPI / Flask / Django preferred)Must have 5+ years of backend development experience at a well-regarded technology organisation Strong understanding of:APIs & microservicesDatabases (Postgres, MongoDB, Redis)Distributed systems conceptsServer-side architectureAbility to solve complex problems with clean and maintainable codeDecent communication skills and confidence to be able to interact with customers when neededGood to HaveExperience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or agent frameworksFamiliarity with Next.js (for API integrations)Why Join the AI LibraryCompetitive compensation + performance bonusesWork directly with a Silicon Valley engineering leadership teamOpportunity to build production AI systems used by enterprises globallyRapid growth environment with strong ownership and autonomyProfessional development, mentorship, and leadership opportunities
