Responsibilities:

  • Utilize familiarity with Google Cloud Storage and AWS services like S3 to establish efficient file storage and management solutions, ensuring data security and accessibility.
  • Design and manage data pipelines for processing, transforming, and loading data into appropriate systems, maintaining data integrity and enabling accurate reporting.
  • Apply machine learning expertise, particularly in time series forecasting, to develop predictive analytics models that empower data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements, develop solutions, and drive business insights.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance data engineering and machine learning capabilities.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Storage, AWS S3, and other cloud storage solutions.
  • Strong background in data engineering principles and best practices for building scalable and robust data pipelines.
  • Proficiency in machine learning techniques, with a focus on time series forecasting and predictive analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Apache Flink.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
