The Industrial and Infrastructure Development Advisory (IIDA) practice of KPMG in India has been advising and assisting India’s development objective by seamlessly bridging the gap between Government’s vision and execution, steering impactful initiatives across the spectrum of infrastructure, industrial and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) development as well as tourism, leisure, and sports. Our multidisciplinary approach blends cutting-edge strategies, regulatory acumen, and global best practices. Our team of multi-domain experts has successfully delivered national priority strategic engagements, providing guidance and insights to central and state governments, Public Sector Units (PSUs), and multilateral institutions


1. State Lead-Project Manager-

Preferred Educational Qualification

Post Graduate degree in economics/ social sciences/ public administration/ Masters/ Post graduate diploma in business management.

Relevant Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in managing development projects including experience in MSME ecosystem development.

Preferred work experience in the State


2. Expert - Financial Management Expert )

Preferred Educational Qualification

Post Graduate degree or equivalent in Management / Finance from a recognized Institute.

Relevant Experience

Minimum 7 years of experience of providing support to Central ministries or its Agencies/ State Departments in the implementation of central sector schemes, centrally sponsored schemes or programmes financed by MDBs/ international development organizations.


3. Enterprise Development Expert

Preferred Educational Qualification

Post graduate degree/equivalent in marketing/business management/ rural management/ relevant field from a premier national/ international institute.

Relevant Experience

Demonstrated experience of 3- 5 years in working with State Governments/ public agencies in establishing business and marketing linkages

Prior work experience with lead buyers in India or other developing economies would be an added advantage


4. Expert - Capacity Building

Preferred Educational Qualification

Post graduate degree or equivalent from a recognized institute.

Relevant Experience

At least 5 years of overall experience with at least 4 years of experience of working with central/state government projects in conceptualizing/ strategy planning / conducting capacity building training programs in the field of Industries / MSME / SHG/ livelihood/ rural industries / Start up programme or equivalent.


5. MIS Specialist

Preferred Educational Qualification

Master’s degree in computer science or computer science graduation/post-graduation in Management

Relevant Experience

At least 3 years of experience in digital initiative or MIS related preferably in a government set up.
