We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, building, and optimizing automated deployment pipelines, managing robust IT infrastructure, and leading DevOps best practices. This role requires someone with strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working during US night shifts to align with business requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and optimize the design, building, and maintenance of advanced automated deployment pipelines to improve delivery speed, efficiency, and release quality.
  • Architect and implement monitoring systems to ensure high availability and proactively address system health issues.
  • Drive the automation and scalability of IT infrastructure with a focus on cost-efficiency and performance improvements.
  • Deploy updates and fixes with a priority on system stability, security, and rapid delivery.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support, resolving complex issues and minimizing operational impacts.
  • Investigate, resolve, and optimize technical challenges to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Design and continuously improve troubleshooting and maintenance procedures to minimize downtime.
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement in DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Chief Architect to align DevOps practices with organizational goals.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in software engineering or IT operations.
  • Expertise in SQL DBA tasks, including database maintenance, security management, backups, and instance monitoring.
  • Advanced skills in scripting using PowerShell, FileMaker, and AWS CLI.
  • Proficiency in Windows administration and deployment tools.
  • Strong experience with configuring and managing Nginx for load balancing, reverse proxying, and web server optimization.
  • Advanced technical expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS services.
  • AWS Certification or Solution Architecture Certification is mandatory; advanced certifications are preferred.
  • Experience designing, building, and monitoring Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines or equivalent tools.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows-based infrastructures.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business technology, healthcare, or related fields.


Preferred Skills:

  • Healthcare industry experience, with a good understanding of its unique challenges and regulations.
  • Expertise in FileMaker Server (FMS) and FileMaker Pro (FMP) version upgrades, including comprehensive testing and validation processes.


Work Schedule:

  • Shift: US Night Shift
  • Timings: 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (1-hour overlap as required)
