Position Title:- Financial Data Engineer

Experience Required:- 3+ Years

Location :- Bangalore/ Hyderabad/Pune (Hybrid)


Job Description:

  • The Corporate Solutions Technical Accounting team is looking for financial analytics engineer to design and develop workflows and create analytics to digitally transform the current NA Accident and Health reporting and business decision processes.
  • 3+ years of experience with strong IT technical skills, low to medium level regarding Accounting/Financial Reporting & Insurance knowledge


About the Team

  • The Client's Technical Accounting team executing compensation settlements and providing support to the Financial Accounting process. The team also produces the data assets that enable detailed analysis and reporting for other functions within the Client value chain as well as to external business partners and regulatory entities. Key responsibilities include the design, development and production of reporting and analysis that supports key accounting and financial reporting processes and the production of data assets that enable analysis for other functional teams.
  • To achieve these goals, the team seeks to implement a data first perspective to innovate and improve the traditional accounting processes and to leverage data as an asset.
  • The role will report directly to the Senior Product Owner for the ESL.NET platform.


About You

  • Experience with SQL, Visual Studio, UC4, SSIS, and SSRS (Microsoft Azure framework)
  • Experience with Python, Spark, Data Lake
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter who can deliver results quickly
  • Good communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts
  • Knowledge of insurance concepts preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of accounting principles preferred but not required
