Are you an experienced infrastructure engineer with a knack for problem-solving and a strategic mindset? We're seeking a Process Automation Engineer to join our team and drive efficiency through automation and infrastructure optimization.


In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, automating processes to streamline workflows and support our operations team. Your focus will be on resolving infrastructure issues, handling tickets, and ensuring smooth, effective processes. You'll collaborate with teams to guide them through problem-solving, rather than coding solutions directly. Your expertise will shine as you identify and address issues, write necessary logs, and support troubleshooting efforts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate and optimize infrastructure processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, managing tickets and guiding resolution.
  • Develop and implement strategic solutions to streamline workflows and save time.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify problems, provide guidance, and support troubleshooting.
  • Write and maintain logs when not available to ensure comprehensive problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an infrastructure engineer or similar role, with a strategic problem-solving approach.
  • Strong knowledge of Python for scripting and automation tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Ability to analyze logs, identify issues, and develop solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to guide and support teams effectively.

Short Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation frameworks, proficiency in Python or any programming language, basic knowledge of Java, and experience with SQL databases. Strong analytical skills and basic administration experience in Windows and Unix environments are essential.

  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and workflows.
  • Create and execute scripts using Python, Java, or shell scripting.
  • Analyze system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions.
  • Utilize Commvault for data management (preferred but not required).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Previous experience in automation engineering.
  • Relevant certifications.
