Responsibilities :


1. Own the Collateral Management Policy and maintain strong process controls for collateral

tracking, management and disposal

2. End to end management of valuations and collateral risk (legal and technical) for Home Loans

business, Collateral audits, Collateral evaluation process and validation of valuation and legal

reports

3. Develop and manage business relationship with valuation & Legal agencies to get reports and

other deliverables with prescribed TAT and cost – across collateral types

4. Own collateral segmentation based on property types, builder category and identify collateral

with high risks or in negative areas.

5. Develop checks and process to control Fraud, build database and use market intelligence to

identity any early warning signals

6. Keep track of the developments in real estate market and its impact on lending parameters,

property valuations and other financial implications

7. Build in-depth knowledge of risks associated with property types / projects / markets /

developers and come up with recommended exposure norms.

8. Coordinate with product team for digitizing and automating collateral sanctions


Requirements:


1. Combination of first principles thinking and knowledge of current practices

2. Preferably B.E. Civil / B. Tech Civil / Civil Engineering.

3. Knowledge of real estate norms / practices of different geographies such as Bangalore,

Hyderabad, Chennai and MMR etc

4. Knowledge on Legal scrutiny related to property, compliance matters with respect to collateral in mortgage business.
