Job Title: Polycom Pre-Sales Engineer

Location: Noida Sector 132


Job Summary:

The Polycom Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the sales team and customers throughout the sales process. This role involves understanding customer requirements, designing solutions, delivering presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction with Polycom products and services.

Key Responsibilities:


Technical Consultation:

  • Engage with customers to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on Polycom solutions and how they can address customer challenges.


Solution Design:

  • Design and architect Polycom solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Prepare technical proposals, including hardware and software configurations, network requirements, and integration points.


Product Demonstrations:

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of Polycom solutions.
  • Develop proof-of-concept (POC) setups and pilots to validate solutions with customers.


Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute account strategies.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering responses to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires.


Training and Education:

  • Provide training to sales teams and channel partners on Polycom products and technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Polycom products, industry trends, and competitive landscape.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Address customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively.


Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to provide feedback on customer needs and product enhancements.
  • Liaise with professional services to ensure smooth implementation and deployment of solutions.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.


Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical consulting role.

Experience with Polycom products and solutions is highly desirable.


Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of audio, video, and telephony technologies.
  • Proficiency in network design and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Unified Communications (UC) platforms and integration (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex).


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Polycom certification.
  • Experience with cloud-based communication solutions.
  • Knowledge of competitive products and industry trends.
