Your key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, optimizing revenue cycle management, and implementing and maintaining electronic medical records systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the medical billing, coding, and electronic medical records operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Optimize revenue cycle management.
  • Implement and maintain electronic medical records systems.
  • Negotiate with insurance companies and handle credentialing.
  • Run daily billing operations, fight claim rejections, and call patients for payments.
  • Take care of the entire back office.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in medical billing, coding, and electronic medical records management.
  • Experience with OpenEMR is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in medical billing and coding software and technologies, including electronic medical records systems.
  • Excellent understanding of US medical terminology, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of privacy and security regulations related to medical records management.
  • Certification in medical billing and coding is required.
