It can be quickly attached to any motorcycle, allowing riders greater control over their journey.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time position for a Senior Procutment Manager, based in the Greater Hyderabad Area, with flexibility for some remote work. Must have experience in manufacturing sector. Experience with dealing with vendors in plastic & metal industries. Must have strong knowledge of local Hyderabad manufacturing hubs like Balanagar, Jeedimetla etc to identify apt vendorsMain Job, duties & responsibilitiesEstablish and implement purchasing policies, procedures and best practicesIdentify and source new suppliers and vendorsManage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliabilityDevelop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors & ensure timely delivery of all the partsDevelop and maintain SOP for the entire function of Purchase Management, Vendor Development and Inventory and Stores ManagementDevelop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirementsPlan regular ordering schedules with different vendors based on the available inventory and expected sales volumesCarry out quality checks and regular testing of the parts to ensure quality requirementsOn-site travelling to the vendors location during the time of production to ensure quality and timely delivery of the partsKnowledge of different industrial works, regions and vendors to deliver every requirement from the production team.Monitor supplier and vendor compliance with contractual agreementsMeasure and manage the vendor and supplier cost, quality and delivery performanceTroubleshoot cost, quality and delivery concernsManage risk relating to quality, cost, delivery and supply of purchasesIntroduce performance improvement measures for suppliers and vendorsWork with relevant departments to manage inventory requirementsMonitor and reduce purchase variances to meet profit objectivesDirect continuous improvement of purchasing processes in line with changing organizational needs and market conditionsKey Skills & CompetencesComprehend and interpret engineering drawings, quality systems requirements and customer specifications.Team management skills and team playerHands on experience on ISO 9001, Lean Management, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-yokeFamiliar to using ERP system for Purchase & supply chain managementFamiliar with export documentation and proceduresFamiliar with transportation management, packing systemsGood communication and negotiation skillsThinking out of the BOX and “Will do Attitude”Academic RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)Post Graduate qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Procurement will be desired but not mandatoryMinimum 5 years’ experience in Purchase, Vendor Development and Supply Chain Management in Automotive, Heavy Engineering, Project Engineering IndustryExperience in working on ERP is required.Immediate Joining
