Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Person to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in using various accounting tools and software. This role requires the ability to manage financial transactions, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transactions: Execute and manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements such as Profit & Loss Statements (PNL), Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements using Excel and other relevant tools.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, TDS (including 24Q, 26Q, 27Q filings), and other statutory requirements.
  • Payroll Management: Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
  • Accounting Software Management: Utilize accounting software such as Tally, Expectra, and Webtell proficiently for recording transactions and generating reports.
  • Analysis and Recommendations: Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures and implement best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an Accountant, Account Executive, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Expectra, and Webtell.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, general ledger functions, and accounting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel for financial analysis (including VLOOKUP and pivot tables).
  • Knowledge of tax regulations including GST, TDS (24Q, 26Q, 27Q), and payroll processing.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification (e.g. CA) is a plus.
  • Experience in a similar industry (specify if applicable).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with accounting functions.


Working Conditions:

  • This position typically operates in an office environment.
  • Regular working hours with occasional overtime during peak periods or for urgent tasks.
